Enormous mouth feel loaded with rich berry fruit and slow, soft, almost syrupy flow across the palate. Full, ripe fruit flavours are deposited all the way. Big wine yet beautifully balanced. Long, aromatic finish. Very attractive now but lots of potential still to develop. A massive wine!

A serious wine to accompany fine cuisine. Good with red meat dishes, aged steak, hearty stews and smoked meat & chicken.
This handcrafted Shiraz has layers of blackcurrant, wild berry and warm spices on the nose and palate. Savoury ripe fruit is well integrated with French oak tannins. Slow cold fermentation and longer barrel ageing add complexity and elegance to this robust wine. A firm wine with good ageing potential.
Delicious with rich red meat dishes such as oxtail.
Ridgeback Shiraz has intense, upfront notes of dark cherry, cracked black pepper, liquorice and a hint of tobacco leaf are cradled by oak spice and suede tannins on the long savoury finish.
This elegant wine, with its deep ruby colour, shows a light smoky nose with a dash of vanilla and spice. Well-balanced on taste, with fruit-cake complexity and a soft white pepper spiciness carrying through in the lingering, silky aftertaste.
Enjoy with spare ribs or venison.
